USS Midway on President's Day

For President's Day I took the kids to the USS Midway Museum. We had so much fun and enjoyed seeing the brig, the engine room, the flight deck, and lots of other interesting places on the decommissioned aircraft carrier.  We went with the Moeller family and had a blast.  The kids hadn't seen each other in a while so they had fun chasing each other and just being silly.  I remember touring an aircraft carrier when I was little so I hope they will remember this as well!

To the Beach we go...in February

Yes the weather in San Diego is so nice that we got a beautiful day at the beach the first weekend of February!  The weather was just right, not to hot and certainly not too cold.  The kids had a blast and we got to spend time with Zach's friend Riley and his mom Jamie.  I just can't believe how nice our weather has been so far this year.

Cute pics

Dressing up at the Kings

Katrina (Mike's youngest cousin) and her friend decided to dress Luke, Jillian, and Tori up when we went to Mike's aunt and uncles house for Christmas celebrations.  We were so suprised to see the kids and they were just the cutest ever and so excited.  My little girl looks so grown up!!

Wild Animal Park with our friends

We went to the Safari Park aka Wild Animal Park with Erin, Avery, Stephanie, Madeline, and Dylan.  The kids had so much fun walking around the park and posing for pictures.  They even got to put a few coins in the machines and ride a few rides. They were so worn out that they all were asleep in the car before we left the parking lot.

Riding our new bikes and hangin at the park with the Romeo family

We got to spend an afternoon at the park the day after Christmas riding new bikes and enjoying a lunch with our cousins, Nana, Aunt Trisha and Uncle Andrew and Auntie M.  The kids had fun exchanging gifts with the cousins too.  Such a beautiful day to be at the park and fun to spend some time with Uncle Andrew, who we do not get to see very often.

More Christmas 2011

Here are a few pictures from Christmas Eve and one from Christmas morning.  The kids had fun being dressed up and Luke and Jilly even participated in the living nativity scene on Christmas Eve.   Christmas morning was filled with presents, excitement and joy for the birth of our Savior.  Merry Christmas 2011!!
