This past weekend we enjoyed a day in the San Diego County snow. Mt. Laguna had the most snow and we weren't even sure how much they would have. Much to our surprise, there was quite a bit of snow in the mountains and the kids had a ton of fun. Jillian and Luke said they had to put on their costumes (i.e. snow clothes) to play in the snow. They enjoyed helping to make a snow man and sledding. Zach made a few snow angels and loved eating the snow. Crazy kids. Mom and dad enjoyed a few sledding runs, thanks to our friend's awesome snow sled! The kids got cold kinda fast so they enjoyed getting into Mike's warm truck. We then drove to Julian for lunch and enjoyed warm apple pie! We will definitely have to do this day trip again!
